I had the most happiest, funnest, interestingiest ( I like making up new words!) and in other words, quite a nice day ! ! Would you like to know what I did? I am sure that you would ! I would sooooo much like to tell you! My teddy friends and I went to..... the chocolate egg making factory! It was so much fun! It is a factory where they take chocolate, roll small bits of them into little balls , and put the prettily coloured foil paper on them.  I have two teddy friends, one called Shelley the shaping of chocolate eggs teddy and Freida the foil wrapping teddy. They have the very special and uniquely important of shaping the chocolate into egg oval shapes and then placing the foil on them. It is okay! I can almost hear what your mind is thinking! I must quickly tell you that they wear very hygienic disposable gloves over their paws so as to keep everything clean and germ free. They also wear special hats so as no fur from their head gets onto the chocolate eggs.

Oh, I just have to tell you about my teddy friend Peter the fruit Pie  making teddy. Can you guess what type of food that he likes cooking? Yes, you guessed correctly... he likes making vegetable soup! But... his second favourite food to cook are fruit pies. And... sometimes people use their second name as their first name. In this instance Peter cooks his second favourite food more than his first! Anyway, Peter decided to cook an apple pie. The daughter of his teddy neighbour's best friend's grandmother-in-law was having a birthday, so he decided to cook her an apple pie as a surprise. Peter discovered that he did not have a full block of butter to use, but he did have lots of little bits and pieces of butter. It always seems to be that when you get to the end of a butter  block, there always is just a little bit left over! Well, Peter got all these little bits of  butter together , and they made just the right quantity for making his pie. Peter likes whistling as he is cooking, and do you know what? Of course you don't know what I am  thinking!      I will tell you what... little birds often come to his kitchen windows and start whistling away in unison with him!  It is like a choir performance! Peter says that it adds a touch of delicious flavour to his cooked food. I am not quite sure if whistling can be a  secret ingredient in his food, but what he cooks tastes extra yummy! Anyway, Peter made and cooked his apple pie. Well, actually he cooked 2 apple pies. He had decided that he wanted to try out the new tutti fruitti ice cream that was on sale in the shops. The best thing to have with apple pie is...ice cream! Soooo.... he made another little pie with some of the mixture just for himself. It got to tea time , and he was sooo much looking forward to his dessert. He just could not wait to try the ice cream on the pie. He got the ice cream out of the freezer and was bringing it out onto the table when he slipped ... and the tutti fruitti ice cream became a very slippery sloppy mess on the floor! But Peter still had his nice apple pie to eat. He got it out of the oven where he had placed it to warm up.  He sat down at his dining table  and after he had cut a slice of it to eat, he put in his mouth.... and the next thing he did was to splutter and say:  " yuk!" It had a most dreadful and awful  taste! How or why could this be so??   Peter thought and thought but could not think why! He had never tasted such an awful tasting  apple pie before!  A little later in the evening he discovered the reason why! You will never, ever guess what the problem was! He put...garlic butter into the pie! He had some small bits of garlic butter wrapped in the normal butter paper  foil packaging , and he mistakenly added these instead of the normal butter!  It would have tasted quite yukky an extremely unappetising! Peter was very glad though that he had made an extra pie for himself before he gave the birthday apple pie away as a special  " delicious" birthday dinner treat dessert!

Anyway, back to talking about the chocolate egg factory! We had a great time there! We were even allowed to choose our own preferred colours of the foil and wrap them around some eggs to bring home with us! But... I  sadly have to say that my teddy friend Mr. Tedderley was involved in his usual tripping antics ! If there is something to trip over, he will stumble and fall!  Jill and Jack the little juggling teddies who are twins are just learning how to do juggling. They are only quite young teddies. They are very eager though to learn juggling and at every opportunity you can see them practising. But.... their Mum has banned them from juggling fresh eggs. Hmm... the ban does not extend to juggling choc eggs through! They were having such a lot of fun juggling these choc eggs , when one did not land into their hands but rather escaped onto the ground ! It ended up in the pathway of Mr, Teddereley... and he went teddy head-over-heels and landed in a teddy mess on the ground! He felt quite bruised and sore! But... he really enjoys eating chocolate , so after eating a few eggs they made him feel much better and took the pain away. Chocolate can make teddies feel better!

Well, I had better say a little teddy goodbye to you. I need to get ready for the upcoming Kiosk Easter Sale! I have been guarding the Easter eggs!

   Until next time,

Just take a little bite of your apple pie to start off with just in case someone has used the wrong type of butter!

      Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath,

           Also simply known as"Ted"
