It is just soooo exciting!! It is going to be sooo much fun! I feel soooo happy!!  I feel this way because all the little school aged teddies are starting or going back to school this week!! There is Sally, Salli , Sarah and Sara who are all Student teddies that are starting school for the very first time!( their names are very similar , don't you think?! I do hope that Trisha the Teacher teddy does not get too confused, when she calls out their names! But then on the other hand, Trisha would not be the one who gets confused; rather it would be the little teddies themselves because the names are pronounced the same! Well, the 2 teddies will just have to answer at the same time!) But I am so very excited because  these 4 teddies have invited me to be the one who takes them to teddy school for the first time!  I will tell you a little secret… you must not tell anyone that I told you this but… their Mums and Dads feel a little bit tearful that their dear little girls are heading off to school for the first time. They don't want to worry their daughters so they asked Sally, Salli, Sarah and Sara  if they would like Kiosk Ted Strath as a special treat to take them to the school instead. (The plan was that as soon as the little teddy girls paws were delivered in to my safe paws care, they would wave a cheery wave to them… then all rush inside and have a nice strong cup of twinings tea and have a little cry. A happy cry, but still a cry that they would not want their little teddies to see and upset them.) I was very happy and sooo proud that I was given this bestest ever responsibility of taking these little friends of mine to school! I am going to hold the paws of one with my left paw, one with my right paw (it is times like this that I do wish that I had 4 paws!!) and piggy-teddy back the other 2 on my left and my right shoulders!!

I heard the girls discussing the other day what they should take to give to their teacher. They had read (they are clever teddies that have learnt to read even before attending teddy school!) that often students take an apple for their teacher. The only problem with that idea was that a  few days ago, their teddy mums had got together and made many apple pies and apple sponges to freeze and keep in storage for when teddies might be sick and need some food to help them along. There were no apples left in their homes! They were going to take backyard grown tomato from  their gardens… but the birds that visit their garden already had the same idea as them and had sent their own bird teachers a map to the teddies home to  have take-away tomato bites! They ended up deciding on taking a lettuce each so that Trisha could eat lots of healthy salads with her meals!( I hope that they wash the lettuce thoroughly before giving it to Trisha! I would not want a little insect to suddenly appear and give a little wave out of a lettuce leaf!

The girls all have teddy school uniforms… but of course there are no pockets in them! Teddies as you know can't pay for anything because they don't have any pockets to put coins , notes or even credit cards in to keep money. It means that they can't pay! ( Hmmm… that rule of life only applies to teddies! If you come into the Strathalan Kiosk and you are wearing clothing with no pockets, you must still pay for your items!!)

The little teddies are quite cute! They never sedately walk anywhere… they just seem to hop, skip and jump along! I am sure that when they grow up into "grown up" teddies, at least one of them will win a medal at the Bears Olympics in the triple jump race!

They have been practising getting out their play lunch and lunch out of their lunch box each lunchtime for the past week. They look so funny when they rush to their school backpack which is in the shape of a Disney Princess, and grab their lunch box out! Their favourite lunch is cheese and tomato sandwiches, and a little tub of  fruit.

Well, I had better get myself ready for my extra special duty of accompanying these little teddies! I really do hope that they paint a picture for me at school! If they do, I will place it on the Kiosk Fridge!

Until next time,

Your friend, Kiosk-Ted Strath.

              Also simply known as  "Ted"!!
