The new packets of potato chips and cheezels that the Kiosk is now selling are sooooo tasty! I keep sneaking packets of them off the Kiosk shelves to eat ! You can't just eat one potato chip... you need to keep eating more!! I really like eating cheezels! It is soooo much fun to put them on my paw fingers! They look like rings. I proudly extend my paws out into the air and look quite elegant in my royal paw finger accessories . Rings are so very trendy you know! They are the latest fashionable accessories that every chic bear is wearing! Oh, cheezels as rings remind me of a very, very sad love story that 2 of my teddy friends experienced. It is a tragic romance tale. Just to think of it brings tears to my teddy eyes. Perhaps you may like to hear about it? I just know that you will empathise with the sad situation. My teddy friends, Cathy and Claude,  are best friends.  One day, Claude summoned up courage and bent down on his teddy knees  ( this took a lot of effort because he hasn't got a very well knee. In fact, it is quite a sick knee. One day he was skipping along a pathway and all of a sudden he was delighted to see a little lady bug on the ground! He thought that the bug was soooo cute and pretty , and of course did not want to accidentally step on her. He was quite concerned to prevent himself being labelled the " lady bug killer"!! He would feel so very ashamed, guilty and embarrassed to be thought of in that way. No.. No.. he was not a killer! He wondered if it might cause him to have to even go to jail! Anyway , he didn't step onto little Lilian the lady bug. But... by avoiding her , he instead tripped over a pebble that he hadn't seen, resulting in torn ligaments in his knee. This meant that he now has a wonky and dodgy knee! )

Sooo..... Claude bent down on his knees and lovingly proposed marriage to Cathy! She was so very, very excited! Of course she said a very loud and emphatic " YES, YES, YES" !!! Claude and Cathy were so very happy together! Claude put a cheezel on her finger and then they rushed to share the happy news of their engagement with all their teddy friends. I went to their engagement party, and it was such a fun night of chatting, dancing, eating potato chips and cheezels and hip hopping about! But... now comes the very sad bit in the tale . Cathy lived with a little girl. This little girl was a very sick little girl and she often needed to spend time in hospital. Cathy would always be her companion whilst in hospital to cheer her up when the pain got very bad. The time came though that brought happy and sad news. The little girl would need to travel overseas for specialised medical treatment. It was happy in that this treatment would help to make her better. Of course, she needed Cathy her favourite best friend teddy, her BFFT, also known as Best Friends Forever Teddy, to go with her. It meant that Claude and Cathy would be parted from each other's sight! That was the sad part of the news. It would need to be a long distance teddy relationship between Cathy and Claude. They can still ring up each other on their teddy mobile phone but can't  see each other teddy face to face. It is quite touching though because each night at supper time , Cathy and Claude in their separate overseas destinations always get some cheezels and place them on their paws as a reminder of their friendship and engagement.

I really like eating potato chips in front of the tv in the Kiosk watching my favourite tv shows. Yummy chips, a comfy seat to sit on, a good book to read or great tv programs to watch ... what more could a Kiosk Teddy want? !!  Not many people know that I have a secret hidden tv in the Kiosk. I am sorry but I can't tell you where the tv is because then it would no longer be a secret! I often watch the tv shows called:*My Kiosk Rules( much better than My Kitchen Rules) * The Block of butter( it is a much more entertaining show than the renovating show called The Block. It involves seeing the Mynards bringing in all the groceries and other items that they have bought to restock the Kiosk shelves and witnessing them placing everything on the shelves. They are such busy bees!!)   * National Bear News( I like catching up with everything that is happening in the teddy world.)* Master Bear( it is the teddy bear equivalent of Master Chef. The teddy chefs on the program cook such great food! The cream sponges and the omelettes that you cook look soooo yummy! Of course, they don't usually cook omelettes and cream sponges at the same time on the same episode of the show!)  and I never ever forget to watch my extra great friend Humphrey B Bear on his tv show!

Well, all this chatting has made me feel hungry. Hmm... it feels like it just the right time for a little snack. What will I eat?? I will have to go and have a little look at the Kiosk shelves....

  Until next time,

       Your friend,

                 Kiosk -Ted Strath,

Also simply known  as " Ted"
