Yippty yip yip yip! I am soooo excited! I have had the bestest , most fantabulous, exciting and "just a little bit better than average" , funnest couple of days! Yes, indeed! It was just soooo great! Could I perhaps take a few moments of your day to tell you about my day? I am sure that you would like to know what made me happy.... and I most certainly would like to tell you! Make yourself a nice cup of hot tea,( well, not too hot that you burn your throat when you drink it! I would not want you to have to put savlon on the inside of your throat to ease the pain of burn marks! ) and get a biscuit or two or three ...or more ( but don't choke when you eat them because it is against food law to put two or more biscuits at the same time into one mouth! The penalties are quite severe you know! But you can be assured that it is perfectly acceptable and legal to put two Mcdonalds French fries chips into your mouth at the same time! But.. of course, there is sometimes an exception to each rule! The exception to this is if you happen to be in Paris and are eating at a McDonalds there, and you decide to have the frogs legs variety of a Big Mac . On that occasion, please be advised that one French fries at a time is considered the most perfect food etiquette! ) And so make your cuppa tea, grab some biscuits ( bought from the Kiosk of course!) and settle back on a chair and I will explain about my most great and fun day!
The lovely Heather and Mr. David were on Kiosk yesterday morning, and I was very surprised when Heather came over to me and whispered in my ear: "You are going on a very special adventure today! You are coming home with me to visit our home and Joyanne !" Well, my heart leaped! Yes, it literally did somersaults with excitement! My teddy stuffing went quite quivery! I know Joyanne soooo well ( I'll let you into a little secret. We have a very, very secret way of communicating so that she can type out my adventures to share with you! I tell them to her and she kindly does the typing! But, I don't get to see her!) I excitedly told my fellow teddy friends the great news, then I was placed into a pink bag and I could see out of the top of it! I am so glad that I was still wearing my tea cosy hat because the weather was quite chilly outdoors ! I had a very nice time in the car looking at all the scenery as I went along. Mr. David drove quite well too! He didn't exceed any speed limits and drive quite smoothly! Not like my teddy friend , Mr. Oliver and the way he drives his bearmobile! He is such a teddy lead/paw footer! I was a teeny bit disappointed because Oliver's bearmobile has a loud golden horn that goes:"Toot! Toot! " but David's car doesn't have one like that!
Anyway, the bestest part of the day was when Heather carried me in, and gave Joyanne a surprise when she said " here is Kiosk Ted Strath!" Her eyes widened and her mouth turned into a smile! My teddy heart inside melted and went all gooey! I felt sooo nice, warmy inside and loved! I was allowed to sit on the comfortable sofa in the loungeroom , and watch all that was happening!
There were lots of funny things that happened! I saw Mr. David wearing pyjamas! I never have seen him wearing those before! And the funniest thing was that he had fallen asleep in the armchair whilst the tv was on! I got a BIG shock because all of a sudden I heard an odd noise, and discovered that it was him snoring! I gave a little giggle at the same time as Heather and Joyanne did!
Another funny thing was when Mr. David leant over Heather's face with a little bottle and poured what looked like water into her eyes! They called it an eye drop! But... her eyes didn't drop off into the floor! Each eye just stayed in her eye socket!
I was sooo happy because I got to have a great long happy chat with my Teddy friend Mr. Oliver who lives at the Mynards home! When everyone was in bed, he took me on a tour all over the house! And...we had toasted raisin bread! It was sooo yummy! I was a bit concerned that the Mynards might smell the fruity aroma of the bread after it was toasted, but they didn't mention it the next morning so it will just be a little secret between Oliver, myself and you who are reading this. Oh, I just remembered! Joyanne will need to be in on the secret too because she is typing this adventures letter! Anyway, we put on little teddy bibs and had serviettes so that we didn't spill any melted butter onto our fur or leave any crumbs!
I did wonder at one stage though if Mr. Oliver was just a teeny bit jealous when I was the "teddy centre of attention " when the lovely Heather brought me in from the Kiosk to see Joyanne. He just looked a little bit "put out", because he is used to being the main teddy in the house! But... I think that it was just a part of my imagination because he "hasn't got a jealous bone in his body " ln fact, no teddies have bones in their bodies, so that means that they can't be jealous !
Well, it came time the next morning to return to my Kiosk home because the Mynards were on Kiosk that morning too. I waved a HUGE wave to Joyanne, gave her a soft hug, then I was transported in a bag back up to Strathalan! Home sweet home! Well, I had better have a little rest now. All this excitement is very tiring!
Until next time, say a little hello to any teddies that you may see each day!
        Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath.
