Yippity yip yip yip! I am sooooo very happy! I am doing my happy teddy dance, jumping up and down, and doing lots of handstands! I am a bouncy little Kiosk Ted today! Would you like to know why I am sooooo happy? I am completely, really, totally and absolutely sure ( but just a little teeny bit iffy!) that you would like to know! I will tell you! It is a very long story so you must read this very slowly! Oh, I'm really only joking, it is not really a long story but you must read this letter not too quickly or else your eyes will get booked for speeding! An eye policeman might come to your door and give you a ticket for reading too fast ! No one likes to get speeding tickets do they ! And even more so that it can hurt your eyes if a red light camera flashes into your eyes! Ooh! I don't like bright lights in my eyes ! It makes me sees stars....without it even being night time! Wow! It must be quite drastic to see starry sights whilst the daylight is here! You wouldn't even need to have a telescope! In one way, it would be good because it can get quite chilly when you need to go outdoors to do star gazing at night. The daytime is a warmer part of the day to see stars. But... I still don't want to see stars as a result of red light flashing on my eyes!
Well, anyway, I stillllllll haven't told you why I am so happily happity happy! A special friend of mine called Heather, heard me give a little sad whimper the other day. It was only a very little almost silent moan! And she also saw my body give a shiver, a quiver and a shudder! I tried soooooo hard not to do it when she was looking, but it happened quite involuntary and without me being able to stop it! The cause of it was... I was so very, very cold! The Wintery weather had got into my bones! Hmmm.... perhaps I had better rephrase that because teddies do not have bones ! The cold had got into my fur and teddy bear stuffing! And I was sooooo very cold! My teeth were chattering away.... and having a great interesting conversation from one wisdom tooth to the next wisdom tooth ( I am a clever teddy you know! I still have my wisdom teeth! Oh, that sounds a bit bragging doesn't it?! Oh, I am so very sorry! I must apologise, I don't want to be known as the bragging bear with the big head ! Please accept my apologies for my not so nice boasting! But...the fact still remains that I still have my wisdom teeth!) Anyway! I was feeling sooooo very chilly, and lovely Heather saw me and I saw a caring look come over her face. It warmed up my heart! But... it didn't make my outside any less colder! But that didn't matter, because my inside felt like I was eating nice hot toast on a Winter's day, that had just that instant popped up out of the toaster! How yummy and warming! Did you hear though about the time I was toasting real bread , and it popped straight directly up into the air, did a quadruple somersault, did a forward pike dive and landed quite eloquently onto my breakfast plate! Not that I have ever judged a diving contest before ( although I have judged a contest as to who could bake the best teddies themed birthday cake! There were four teddies in the contest... and I got to look at the cakes and have a slice of all of them! That is the delicious, scrummy, yummy and tasty rewards of being a judge in a baking contest! Hmm... I felt sooooooo guilty about having to choose which cake was the best, that I ended up saying that it was a tie and quickly scurried down to see Melanie the Medal making teddy and Ethan the Engaver teddy, and got four first prize engraved medals as quick as my little teddy paws would take me! The four winners were soooo happy!)
Anyway, back to the toast, if I was a diving judge, I would give it 9 and 1/2 out of ten! It lost the final half a mark because it didn't wave to me whilst in the air! Anyway, ( I seem to be saying a lot of anyways today , don't I ?!!!) It was very exciting because the next day, I heard a little rustle of a key in the Kiosk door, and just like it does every time I hear it, my teddy heart gave a little happy heart beat leap because I like seeing the Mynards happy faces appear! I must quickly say that I also like to see their bodies appear too! I would not want to see headless bodies or bodies-less heads! That would definitely be a funny and very odd sight to see ! Well, this time, Heather headed straight to see me! And guess what? No..... even if I gave you a trillion guesses, you would not guess what happened next! She put a tea cosy on my head! It was one that she had knitted a million years ago! Well, not exactly a million years ago, but it is very special because she can't knit now because of the arthritis in her hands and the state of her back. So I feel very privileged to have a nice knitted tea cosy on my head to keep my head soooooo warm and cosy in the Wintery weather ! It feels so snuggy and warm! That is the reason why I am sooooo happy! I am as snug as a teddy bug in a rug!
Well, I'm off now to have a snooze! Until next time, I would very heartily recommend wearing tea cosies on your head to keep warm!
  Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath.
