Hello
The Grand Adventures are still being written, but they are a short paragraph from Kiosk Strath Ted, accompanied by pictures. I hope that you enjoy reading all these adventure posts that were written below. Kiosk Ted Strath really enjoyed writing them 😀🐻
Hello everyone! How are you feeling today? I really  truly, completely and utterly am asking you and I want to know the answer! My teddy ears are perked up trying to hear your answer!
Ooohh , I feel soooo sorry for Beatrice, Bobbie, Bianca and Benji, the baking bears! They were kept soooo busy over December cooking up batches and batches of mince pies! The demand for them by the teddy shoppers was so  high and almost non-stop! The mince pies did taste very delicious and  yummy! It was quite tiring on the Bears though ! By the time December 25th arrived, they were " fruit minced" out! But...there were lots and lots of very happy teddies who enjoyed eating the fruit mince pies  throughout December!
But...that is not why I feel soooo sorry for the Baking  bears! The reason is, that now "due to customer demand" they have enlisted to make dozens and dozens of hot cross buns! They were planning to head off down to the beach and camp at Tedbud ( the teddy holiday destination instead of Rosebud ) and just enjoy doing some relaxing there. They had bought some sun cream,  new  summery hats, colourful beach towels and had packed into their luggage the new season bestseller books,( these books were highly rated in the latest version of Teddy Digest, which is "the" magazine that all knowledge teddies read! It is written for " those teddies who like to keep up  with current news, styles, trends, food , literature and sports" It is definitely a magazine to place on your coffee table!
Anyway, the Baking bears have needed to "postpone" their beach trip and instead stay home and cook hot cross buns! They are very dutiful in their dedication to baking items that teddies want to eat! They may  be a little tired though from making hot cross buns by the time Good Friday arrives!
Well, I had best say a little  goodbye for now. Hmm....the warm hot cross buns may be calling  by nose! And also my mouth. !
     Until next time,
           Your friend

                  Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone! I hope that you had an extra nice, super duper, excellente, very special and double lovely Christmastime! I did! I had a roast chicken and roast vegetables Christmas lunch! Hmm...I did feel sooo sorry for Gregory the gravy bear! Yes, he came to pour some gravy over his roast potatoes and pumpkin, and little Jenny the joking teddy had just pulled her Christmas cracker. She was sooo excited to tell Gregory her joke that was in her cracker! Gregory is a very kindly teddy, and so gave her his full attention. The only thing was, he thought that the joke was so funny, that he started to giggle...and laugh...and chortle...then the next thing we knew, his teddy hands had knocked the gravy boat containing the gravy onto the floor! It was  a  mess!
And... I never ever ever ( which is much more emphatic than never ever! ) realised that broccoli and cauliflower fight! Yes, they do! It is all to do with hair dressers! The broccoli and cauliflower hair dressers both think their florets are better than the other! Personally,I think that they both  look nice and taste delicious! Anyway, a "war" broke out on the Christmas Day lunch plates,  between the cauli and broccoli! The carrots and beans were forced to take sides! The Cauliflower and Brocoli stems all "stood to attention " , tossed back their florets hairstyles and gave speeches as to why their floret hairstyle was better then the other one! They are quite good speech makers! It was declared a tie! Then all of us teddies went back to eating our Christmas lunch  meals!
It was such a very warm Christmas Day! My teddy fur felt so warm! It was very kind of Isabella the icey-pole teddy to give us teddies all a lemonade icypole to cool us down! And Bobbie the Banana grower Bear had put  bananas onto lcypole sticks and then had frozen them, for us to eat at night time! Aren't they such kind teddies?!
Well I must go now. Talking about food reminded me that I need to go and prepare for dinnner!
     Until next time,
          Your friend,

              Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone! It's just me, Kiosk Ted Strath! Well, I would be a bit funny if it was someone else writing here wouldn't it?! They would be " trespassing " on my page! Of  course, I am a very welcoming teddy and I would wilingly share my page with other teddies! It would be like a tandem bike! No...not a good idea! We may fall off onto the ground and get big grey bruises! Ouch-ouchy-ouch!
Talking about other teddies, my friend Mr. Oliver teddy, is so very excited! He keeps bubbling away with happiness! Do you know why? You will never guess why! So...I will tell you why! The lovely Margaret M took photos of him at the FOS Christmas break-up! He feels that he is a celebrity star! He is so very proud! He keeps showing them to everyone he sees! I am sure that he would like you to see them also! Here they are!

Doesn't he look so, so handsome! He especially did his fur teddy hair nicely for the occasion!  He is looking longingly at the mince pies, ready to eat one! But...he is a very well mannered teddy and he knows that he it is best to wait until everyone else is seated at the table before he can start to " munch" his delicious mince pie! It is good that he keeping etiquette rules and is wearing a serviette! You must always, always be aware of crumbs!
He had such a good time at the social break up! He did tell me though that he was sooooo tired when he got home! He had a little snooze lay in the next morning! Instead of getting up at the usual time, he slept in for a further ninety seconds! He told me that the lay in helped him sooooo much!
Well, I had best be off now. I've go soooo much to do now that Christmas time is here! The little teddies at school are going carolling and I am going to be playing the keyboard as they go around the streets singing the Christmas carols! It will be lots of fun! We are having lots of practices though!
  Until next time,
          Your friend

              Kiosk Ted Strath

Hello everyone!  Yawn...yawn..Oh, I am most sincerely apologetic! It is quite impolite of me to yawn . I am sorry that you witnessed my bad etiquette manners! Edna the Etiquette teddy would be very unhappy! She teaches all the little teddies about having good manners. She teaches manners in a fun way so that it helps them to remember the best way to do things. She also gives them a reward of a linen serviette that has their name embroidered on it at the end of her " Formalities For Future Terrific Trained Tidy Teddies Course! " She doesn't like paper serviettes! ( Please don't tell her that I am saying this, but I strongly disagree with her on this point! I absolutely , completely, totally and fully like patterned paper serviettes! They look so very pretty! They add a colourful and nice look to the dining table! But...I must not let Edna know how I feel, as that would be quite ill mannered of me! )
It was soooooo funny the other day! Well, actually to be truthful it wasn't very funny when it occurred but then it ended up quite funny! I had stayed up late the previous night, because "you know how it is". Sometimes you just want to finish doing something,  and think that it will only take a few minutes to complete...then the " few minutes" turns out to be a lot longer! So...I didn't get as much sleep as a normally do! I was feeling a little bit tired the next day.  Anyway, I had a big bowl of strawberry and spearmint  icecream, with cherries on top that I was eating for a meal . I fell asleep in the midst of eating the ice cream and I woke up to find my teddy nose in the ice cream and a cherry on top of my nose! It was a   very unique waking up setting! Very messy ...very Ice-creamery ...very delicious! It gave me a bit of a surprise though!
I have to admit that I stayed up so late the night before that I was able to say " good morning" to Margie magpie, Claudia  crow, Sally  spa sparrow and Sebastian Seagull who had just woken up and were having drinks of honey and water in preparation for singing their early  morning melodies tunes!
I had better go now and have a little nap!
   Until next time,
   Your friend,

          Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone! I hope that your day  is going well ! Talking about wellness, i had to go and see Doctor Teddy the other day for my annual teddy health challenge!
Doctor Teddy  decided to test my teddy eyes first. He was quite excited telling me about the latest  teddy health research finds! It appears that the bunnies have all escaped  from where they  live and have eaten all the carrots in the world! That is a bad sign for teddy eye health! But the latest research  has said that Doughnuts are good to eat  for eye health. This is because eyes and doughnuts are the same shape! It would be very beneficial for your eye health if you eat iced donuts, cinnamon donuts or jam filled  doughnuts! And just in case you are wondering why I am spelling " doughnuts" and " donuts" two different ways, it is because the health findings will help people who live in every country of the world, and I don't want anyone to miss out on knowing about it, because they spell the word differently!
Next test was that I had to stick out my tongue so that Doctor Teddy could look at it! I felt so impolite doing this! But , he asked me do it! It was a cold day also, and my tongue got quite chilly when it went outside of my mouth!
Ouchity ouch, ouch, ouch ouch! I do NOT like my blood pressure being taken! The wraparound on my teddy arm is so very tight and hurts! There is also friction caused by my teddy fur! I get  a little bit scared also when a machine is pumping up my arm! Oh well, I suppose it is a good training workout for Doctor Teddy if he wants to enter the hand pumping Olympics event?!
It was sooooo cool! I have xylophone knees! It is true! It is really is! Doctor Teddy played a tune on my knees! He said that it was to test my reflexes. It felt so tingly! I am soooo glad that my knees sounded melodic and harmonious!
My health check up is now over for another year! I got quite a good report! I think that i will celebrate with some fruit cake! That sounds yummy and Doctor Teddy would approve...I think?!
  Until next time.
         Your friend ,
             Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone! It's just me Kiosk teddy bopping away, singing " hooray", saying " yay yay" , and enjoying the sunny Spring day! ( I was in a little rhyming mood just then! ) I am soooooo happy that Springtime is here! My little bird friend, , Martha the Magpie ( hmm...it is very, very wise to not argue   with her! Her beak is quite " peckish" which means that she can " peck" you! It doesn't mean that she gets hungry a lot! You also are not allowed to have red/orange hair if you are friends with her!  Well, you can have this colour hair, but if you do, you must be a kind " bird nest" philanthropist and be very willing to give up parts of your hair for her nest! My suggestion to you if you would like to be friends with her is to dye your hair green, eat a tub of ice cream, turn the tub upside down ( after it has been cleaned of course) and put the tub on your head when chatting to her! And...do NOT mention the  word " Collingwood " to her ! If you do, you will not stop her warbling the Collingwood theme song or talking about the players! ) is very happy to have Spring weather also! She practices every day in her bathroom in front of a mirror her melodious songs that she warbles!
My other bird friend, Pete the penguin  enjoys Springtime fishing in the sunshine! I was sooooo honoured the other day! He even told me his secret method of catching fish! I am sure that he won't mind me telling you? The bait that he uses is a cupcake with strawberry icing and a cherry on top! The fish are  always attracted to yummy cupcakes!
My friend Edna the Emu really, really likes Springtime, because it means that lots of families start having outdoors picnics and barbecues! That means that Edna can just nonchalantly happen to pass nearby them and grab an extra cooked sausage  or a  yummy sandwich for herself to eat! She has a wide variety of delicious cuisines to choose from, depending on what the families bring to eat or cook for lunch!
So....we all are enjoying Springtime! My plan is to chase butterflies to keep fit! Don't worry though! I will only chase them, not catch them!
I will say goodbye now and go and read a book in the sunshine!
        Until next time.

   Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone! I am so " pumped' ! Yes, I am trendy too! I am talking the language that the younger teddies also talk! Do you think that I sound
"cool" ? Hmmm..perhaps I don't want to sound cool because then I will get  very shivery and feel cold inside! Then I will need to stand near the fireplace and warm up! I will have to have  a cup of warm twinings tea to make my inner teddy body feel warm again! And I don't really want to be " pumped"  because I am not a bicycle wheel! I don't need to inflated using a bicycle pump! I may explode! There would be parts of me in one of the area of the kiosk, then another part in another area, and I may also be found on the ceiling! That wouldn't be too good!
Anyway, I think I will rephrase what I said,  and say that I am  truly, really, completely and totally ( perhaps and maybe ) excited because I have joined the Teddy Choir who are singing Christmas Carols at Christmastime and we have had our first practice! Isn't that great?! And..what was really fun was that after the practice there was floral painted China plates brought out and they all had cheese and tomato sandwiches on them! And they were even cut into triangles like sailing boats!  I clapped my teddy paws when I  saw them!
I only just learned that lol means " laugh out loud"! I still prefer my definition which is " lots of love" ! ❤️ I also keep seeing," tl;dr " It looks such a weird combination of letters and symbol! I just found out that it occurs at the start of  a summary of previous text and means "too long, didn't read" . I am learning new things everyday! I am a teddy student in the teddy University  of daily life!
Well, I must say goodbye for now. I am going to " jam" with my teddy musician friends, Mabel, Millicent and Matthew! I am playing the piano! I wonder if it will be raspberry, strawberry, apricot or marmalade jam?!
   Until next time,
       Your teddy friend.

      Kiosk Ted Strath.

Hello everyone! Good morning, good afternoon, good evening...good 26 minutes past 2a.m. time too!
I was enjoying eating some of little round biscuits crackers the day. They are made by a variety of companies. There are Clix, Jatz ,Savoy and Ritz. I was in a bit of a " cheery" mood the other day and was thinking about how these round  biscuits could used in other ways! I started to " teddy brain storm" ideas! Perhaps they could replace the wheels on buses? Or they could be little plates to place pills on before swallowing them! If you had a hole in a bucket, the round crackers would be great to plug the hole! Of course, they would also make great frisbees!
Oh, I forgot to tell you about my clothing attire that I wore when I ate  my  ritz and savoy biscuits! ( The word " attire" sounds so formal! It suits well what I wore! ) Because these biscuits are ALWAYS served at the " Ritz Hotel" and the "Savoy Hotel" , I needed to wear by black tuxedo with a white bow tie and white dress shoes! I looked sooooo very suave, stylish  and neatly attired! ( hmmm...it was a little bit of an illusion though! I took a bite of the biscuit...and crumbs went all over my nice tuxedo! Oh well, Denise the Dry cleaning teddy will suit clean my suit for me! She is the bestest ever " crumb removalist" I know! In fact, when she did her Bachelor of Cleaning at Teddy University, she majored in crumb cleaning!  Her graduation outfit that she wore at the graduation ceremony was spotless! Hmmm... It "was " spotless until she ate  a sausage roll that had tomato sauce on it, and the sauce dripped on her gown! She just laughed!
I like experimenting and putting different toppings on the biscuits! I go through stages where I like different topping versions! The current favourites are strawberry jam topped with cream cheese and some potato salad on top, or lemon butter topped with grated carrot then some cheddar cheese  on top! How yummy and delicious!
Oh, I feel a little peckish now! I think I may go and eat some dry biscuits! I will top these ones with Vegemite and hundreds and thousands!
   Until next time,
      Your friend,

          Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone! :) Guess what?! Oh, you will never, ever, forever...
perhaps may...guess what I an going to next say! I suppose you could but if you do,please keep it a secret so as not to spoil my surprise of telling you! Hmmm...I suppose I will never know if you guessed right or not?! Oh well, I will tell you right now anyway!
I am going to the Olympics! Isn't that so much fun! Well, actually, to be completely honest, Stella the Space Traveller teddy, is taking there in her rocket overnight , so that I am back for when the Kiosk is open! I take my responsibility very seriously as Kiosk Ted Strath! Her space rocket shop  has a big smiley face on the exterior of it! It has a smile on it, so that if any Martians or aliens see if as the rocket soars through space, they will just smile or laugh ! Stella even serves little food breaks on her rocket ship journey ! This is the food that she is going to serve this time! She is taking a whole rocket full of teddies! It is going to be such fun! I hope that we don't  leave too many crumbs in the rocket!
What is your favourite sports? I like watching  swimming! Butterflies are such pretty insects, so the butterfly swimming stroke is very nice also! Did you know that when there is a butterfly stroke race, the sporting officials place butterfly stickers on the base of the swimming lanes for swimmers to see whilst in the race!
Everyone who competes at the Olympics in the Freestyle races gets a Coles coupon docket at the end of the race. The coupon is a " Buy one, get one "free" , on a range of supermarket items! It is very advantageous to race in the " free"-style races!
I do enjoy watching the swimming relays too, but...they make me feel so very tired after the race! I get sooooo very anxious that a swimmer will take off from the blocks  before the preview swimmer has touched the end of it! It is a BIG worry!
Well,I must go and pack my teddy backpack for my daily Olympic travels! I will barrack very loudly for the Aussies!
Until next time,  Your friend,
Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello!!! I have just had the bestest ever day! Yes, I feel like cartwheeling, forward rolling, doing handstands and jumping up and down on the spot! I  think that you may be able to tell that I am a little excited! Would you like to know why?? !! I am sure that you would! It is because...today was "Teddies Bears Day" !! It is held every year on September 9th! It is such a fun and happy day! We hold lots and lots of teddy bear picnics all around the world! At our picnics, there are so many giggles and chattering! The little teddies all play on the " teddy bars" which are the bear equivalent to " monkey bars" "!
Hmmm...that is a puzzling term for me . Why are monkey bars called monkey and not " frog bars" or " rhinoceros bars" or " octopus bars"? Do you need to eat a banana before playing on monkey bars? I think I will just stick to watching little teddies playing on the " teddy bars"!!
The little teddies also have fun on the see saws. But..if you " see" something, does it also mean that you later  " saw" it? Or it you " saw " it later , does that mean that you  happened to " see " it before?!  And which end of a see saw is the " see" end and which is the "saw" end?! Questions galore today!
All teddies enjoy eating cheese and tomato sandwiches! It is a well known   fact! They are sooooo yummy! Personally, I am a " teddy tomato connoisseur" and enjoy eating truss or hydroponic tomatoes! They are very tasty! But any tomato makes a delicious filling for a sandwich! The tomatoes  need to be red though! If you forget what colour they should be, just remember that "red" rhymes with Ted!
Danielle the " Doughnut making teddy" always makes lots and lots of doughnuts for our teddy bear picnics! They are the Iced and jam type of doughnuts, then ones where you take a bite...and squishy jam comes out the other end and becomes stuck in your fur! Sticky...yummy....delicious!
Well, I best be off now! I feel a little bit tired after my happy teddy bears day!
Until next time,
    Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath

Hello everyone, two, three , four...million! Well, perhaps not a million! I can't count as high as that! Well, truthfully I can but I would get sooooo tired if I kept counting and counting! And...my teddy mind may get so overwhelmed and weary,  and I may drop off to sleep! Oh, that wouldn't be good if I literally " dropped off" and fell onto the ground! Ouchity-ouch! Bumpity -bump! But when I think twice about it, or thrice, or fourice, fifthice or millionice ( I had better not start that again! ) I can't  really " drop off",  because I am not like my friend the chirping Sparrow who sits on tree branches and may get dropped to the ground if a fierce wind hits  the tree! ( Have you ever been caught in the midst of really, really windy weather? I indeed have! In fact, one day the wind was sooo strong that it literally lifted me up into the air! But the worse thing was that my teddy friend, Carmel-Susan  the Chic and Stylish teddy, was with me, and she had just got a new teddy hat! It was a beautifully designed hat! It had been made by world famous teddy milliners from Paris! The wind blew ...and her hat went off into air...and we no longer were able to find it! It was quite upsetting for my teddy friend! She started to cry, and I felt my teddy heart melt. Not that it is an ice block though! I quickly got her a cup of coffee and some tim tams and they cheered her up a little bit! )   So, I am probably safe from  "dropping off"! !
But...I may start counting sheep in my sleep if I try to count to a million ! But sheep are nice and woolly fluffy animals! And they like saying :"Baa!!!" I always wondered why they say : " Baa!" , so I asked my Teddy university scholar friend, Mr. Oliver Teddy Bear, if he could answer my question! He is such a brainy teddy! He said that it is because sheep can't drive cars! So they don't say " car! ", they instead say " baa ! " This explanation makes so much sense! I have never, ever seen a sheep drive a car! I have also never met a sheep who was employed as a driving instructor. Perhaps sheep are unable to be accepted into driving instructor courses, so that leads into sheep never being able to be instructed how to drive?
Isn't it great that you learn new things every day?! Life is an ongoing learning experience !
I have a sheep friend called : " Bethany " She has kindly eyes! She looks at me with her sheepish ( literally ) eyes, and a smile unfolds right across my teddy face!
Well, I must be off now.
I need to practice my dance skills, just in case I am invited to a dance party! I don't want to hurt other teddy's feet by me stepping on their toes!
 Until next time,
    Your friend.

        Kiosk Ted Strath
I am sooo excited! Oh, I am so sorry. That wasn't very polite of me was it ? ! I should have said "hello" or I could have said " bonjour " in case you were a French speaker or even "Buongiorno" for Italians. On the other hand, if I  was extra tired and didn't feel like saying " hello" , I could have just posted pictures   of hello kitty!
Anyway, I am excited because I have been having fun riding a horse! It is a  little bit bumpy but very fun! I wasn't even afraid! I thought that I would be, but I had the bestest ever, very clever and quite brainy idea! Before i went  horse riding , I polished up the brightest red and juiciest ( Well I hope that it was juicy! Actually , horses don't share their food! ) apple that I could find so as I could make friends with the horse and give the horse the apple! I had two plans in my head, and I didn't know which to choose! The other plan was to bring a big slice of apple pie and cream!
There is a tiny, little and miniature concern that I have though! The horses teeth may bite me! I wouldn't want to be a horse dentist! I wonder if horses have their own toothpaste?Perhaps  instead of "Colgate" toothpaste they use "Horsegate" toothpaste instead. They need to keep drinking milk so that they can build their calcium levels up!
Well,I had better go and prepare for my next horse ride! I think I will take with me some cakes  for the horses to eat?!
Until next time,your friend
 Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone ! How are you feeling day? If you are not feeling  too good,   well I do sincerely hope any pain eases, that the sun shine peeks around a corner and ends up touching your face, and of course I send a " hugely big, gigantically enormous bear hug"  to you! And...the best thing is, that because I am a  teddy bear, I am quite qualified to give bear hugs! Isn't that good and exciting?!
Do you like snow globes? They are the little water globes that you can shake, and little bits of snow inside  the globe " flutters" in the water! It looks quite effective! I used to have one, until one day there was a minor earth tremor! It was just enough of a shake for the snow globe to jump off the shelf, land on my big toe paw ( ouchity-ouch! I still have a blue/black/yellow polka dotted bruise from it! ) and then it  rebounded into the kitchen sink! It landed on the sink taps,  then that started the taps running, the glass broke, and the sink was a " mess" of water and snowy snow! Goodbye Mr. Snow Globe!
I think that magazines have some quite weird names! I often load my "Tipad" ( the teddy version of an iPad! ) and have a look at the magazine titles! The Australian Women's Weekly comes out...monthly not weekly! Woman's Day is published each week not each day! The New Idea is not
" new"...it has been being published for quite a long time! There are food magazines called : " Taste" and " Delicious", but we are not told which particular food to taste test or what particular food that been declared with the verdict that it is " delicious"!!!! Vogue magazine sounds as if it would be quite a stylish and classy magazine...which means that if I decide to have Cheese  and Beetroot sandwiches for lunch, I think that I must avoid reading Vogue magazine. The People's Friend which is a Scottish magazine does sound quite friendly and homely though! It evokes an image of readers from  all around the world sitting in front of a fire in a very comfortable armchair, with a fluffy pillow and a cup of tea, reading the magazine!
Well , I had best be off now. I am getting ready to visit Isabella the Ill teddy. She is feeling not too well. I am taking her some alphabet soup, so that if she is feeling poorly she can search for all the letters in the soup! She must be careful that she  doesn't get a burnt teddy  tongue from eating the soup at too high a temperature!
   Until next time,
         Your friend

              Kiosk Ted Stath

Hello everyone! Stella the Space Traveller teddy is taking me in her rocket shop to the Olympics this week ! I am soooo excited because  we are going to watch the Athletics! I have made by cheese and tomato sandwiches to take with me, because sports watching is a very hungry-making activity to do! There is nothing worse than a teddy with  a "rumbling stummy" ( stummy is a combination of the words " stomach" and "tummy"! I need to sometimes use "trendy" words that are just like what the young teddies say so that I sound " hip" and " modern" to them ! Of course though, if I have a broken hip, well then I couldn't sound " hip" could I ?! It would be soooo painful to have a broken hip! The worst thing would be that you wouldn't be able to do " hip hop" dancing! Hmm...I suppose you could still  do the " hop" part of the dancing ? It would sad to have to give up your daily game of hopscotch, wouldn't it! Oh, I suppose you could still have the " scotch fingers" part of playing hop-scotch ? Scotch fingers biscuits are yummy! I wouldn't though recommend though putting nail polish on the fingers, because in case you didn't know, scotch fingers aren't  "real " fingers! ) Kylie Kangaroo carried Hillary the Hip broken teddy last time that she had a broken hip. She only has two hips, but she has broken  both of them!
I often enter the running races at the Teddy Bears Picnics! It is lots of fun! I wear a blue tracksuit and even though I never win, I look quite athletic! I usually come last! But...I look at this way : There needs to be a teddy that comes first...there needs to be a teddy that comes last...and there needs to teddy spectators to encourage the teddy athletes on! I suppose that it doesn't help that whilst running I often to " stop to smell the roses" literally mid-race! Did you know that where the Teddy Bears Picnic races are held, they have such a lovely variety of scented and colourful roses! They are so beautiful!
Well I must go off and make sure that that I have a hankie to take with me on my trip to the Olympics. You must never leave home without a hankie!
  Until next time,Your friend,
           Kiosk Ted Strath
This post was meant to be after another post about Stella and the Olympics that I posted, so it is a little out of order!
Hello every-one or two or three or even four ! I am sooooo glad that my teddy family members taught me how to count when I was a little teddy! It makes life so much easier! If i decided that I  wanted to count how many 'hundreds and thousands" decorations had been spread on a slice of bread and butter, I can do that ! But I suppose the answer to the question of how many would be either 100 or 1000! ( I think?!) I may never need  to count how many, but it is nice to know that I have the option to know that I can count them!
The weather has been sooo chilly lately ! I was having my teddy shower the other day, ( teddy +fur = sogginess ) and the temperature was very low. When the hot water came onto me, I felt that the water was " burning " me! It  takes sooo long for the water to heat up! If I was a teddy musical  violinist ( which I am not! Although I do know the teddies that travel with the musicians who belong to the orchestra members who travel with Andre Rieu ! They have a lot of fun watching the concerts and listening to the music! They are always prepared to be on standby as understudies in case  any of the orchestra members are  unwell and can't perform. The teddies have never needed to be called on but it is better to be safely prepared in case. ) I could play the Blue Danube Waltz twice on a violin before the water has warmed up! It would look a little odd though playing the violin whilst waiting for the water to warm up. I can't play the violin either, so it would sound a bit screechy!
I received a letter the other day from my teddy friend, Alexandra the Antarctic Teddy. I wouldn't want to live there! She has tomato soup and toast  for breakfast each morning! She also has toasted cheese, tomato and chillis sandwiches for lunch! For teatime, she sometimes has pepper steak! Oh, and she likes hot jam donuts and hot apple pie!
Well, I must be off now. I need to go and put my electric blanket on!
       Until next time,
                  Your friend,

Zippity -zip! Bippity -bpi! Yippity-yip! Oh, don't be worried! It is not an alien teddy invading this letter! It just me, Kiosk Ted, here feeling a bit spring time in advance today! I am learning to tap dance! It is really true! To be more correct, I am tap paw dancing. It is sooooo much fun! A fun part of it is the rhythmic  noise that my paws make on the ground! It can be a little tiring though. At the teddy dance studio where I am learning to dance, we have big fluffy cushions that we " collapse" on when we get really, really tired from  dancing! Here are pictures of the pillows :

Don't tell anyone BUT I have a little dancing secret! Would you like to know it? I am sure that you do! The secret is...I eat " Aero" chocolate bars to "fly" through the air when I am dancing! It is quite fun! Sometimes I have choc aero, and other times I have Mint aero bars! I think it is because aero bars contain bubbles. When I eat the aero bar, the bubbles make me fly up in the air!
I do also sometimes eat dairy milk chocolate bars also. It is because the calcium in the milk helps my dancing legs. Also, I am very good friends with Claire and Clarence cows who provide milk for the dairy milk choc bars. There are even tourist buses that take tours to the dairy farm where Claire and Clarence live, to see the cows who help to make the chocolate bar! One time, a news reporter came to the farm and took a picture of the cows. Claire made sure that she had nicely coloured eye makeup on her that day, and wore a pearl necklace around her neck! She was very excited!
Well , I had better go and do some dancing practice! I will put my favourite hip hop bip,bop music on to listen to whilst dancing!
   Until next time,
      Your friend,

          Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone! I hope that you are keeping warm in this very, very cold weather! It is sooooo chilly! My teddy  friend, Mr. Oliver , has had his grey fur turning white in the early mornings! It must be cold if that occurs!
The other day, I had a special phone call on my tedobile phone! The callers were Carla, Colin, Cathy and Chrissie , the campfire teddies, inviting me to their campfire party that night! They said it would be warming to sit around the  campfire! It sounded a fun idea! And...it was so much fun! Cathy is such a very skilful and talented musician! She even went to world renowned Musical Teddy Conservatorium ( also known as MTC ) to study her music! She had to spend days and nights, then nights and days, then night -days studying to get her musical degree in her musical instrument! It is such a delight listening to her playing the music! Oh, I suppose you would like to know what musical  instrument that she plays?! She plays the eucalyptus gum leaf! She plays sooo well! It is very melodious! She played lots of tunes for us as we sat around the fire!
We toasted marshmallows! But..they got soooo sticky! We had very sticky paws and didn't know what to do! Chrissie turned on a tap to wash her hands, but then the marshmallow went onto the taps, and after washing her hands the marshmallow stuck again on her hand when she turned off the tap!
Little Flora  the First -grader teddy got a surprise when she lost her first tooth when eating her damper! She was a little tiny bit upset! It is not everyday that you lose a tooth! (You wouldn't want that to happen! )  Greta the Grandmotherly teddy gently comforted her and promised that if she left out her tooth, a teddy fairy would come and collect it and reuse it to make nests for orphaned baby birds. Flora then was back to being a happy little teddy! ( She still doesn't like Vegemite, so she isn't a happy Vegemite teddy!)
We had a very fun night! I just thought and thought in my teddy brain what should I take with me to the campfire party? Roses boxes of chocolates are nice. Or perhaps some blocks of chocolate? But i couldn't work out what flavour! I ended up taking potato crisps instead!
Well, I had better go now. I need to put my electric blanket on!
     Until next time,
         Your teddy friend ,

              Kiosk Ted Strath
Hello everyone! With it being Wintertime, I have been spending the evenings snuggled up in my favourite cozy armchair with my multi-coloured patchwork quilt over the top of me, and pondering the BIG questions of life!
Did a French person invent " French fries"? Do they hold  a copyright on the the production of them that everyone McDonalds makes a packet of them, they have to take a note of it and then pay a copyright fee? Fiona the French fries fanatic would enjoy having that job! She eats French fries for Breakfast, lunch and dinner! Oh, but then she may have to pay a fee for eating fries at each meal! She prefers the salt less variety, so perhaps she wouldn't have to pay as big a copyright fee?
Another big issue : I am very concerned about slippers! I  do NOT want to slip on the ground and get a sore big toe! A slip-per seems quite dangerous to wear! It is painful to slip and land on the floor ! It may perhaps not be as painful to land on carpet, but it is not to slip and fall on kitchen tiles! Big toes can get bruise-y and turn grey if you fall! Occupational Health and Safety workers really need  to investigate such a form of footwear!
With cheezels, do the Manufacturers employ people to hold out their fingers so as to check if the cheezels will fit on their fingers? Do you need to have orange hair to be employed there, to colour co-ordinate with the cheezels?

If you eat a yo yo biscuit and you accidentally drop it onto the floor, will it automatically bounce back to you so that you can catch it again? It would be very great if it did! I think that the name yoyo is quite funny! It makes my teddy tongue giggle when it says the name!
Well, pondering these things makes me feel a little hungry because I used up some of my brain energy! I think that I will have some cheezels flavoured French fries wearing teddy bear slippers !
    Until next time,
        your friend,

             Kiosk Ted Strath

Hello everyone! The other night I had a most awful experience! I was sooooo tired and sleepy ! It is quite tiring being " guard teddy" for the Kiosk you know! I have to keep alert all the time for any suspicious activities! One night I had an awful shock because i saw a shadowy figure outside the Kiosk ! My teddy heart went thumpety-thump -bumpity-bump! If your heart goes thumpety-thump it is not good! If it goes bumpity-bump it is doubly not good! Put the two together, and the result is a quadruply not good occurrence! Oh, but it turned out okay in the end! It was just the shadow of Marcus the Moon walker teddy marching around on the moon! He was having a midnight snack of the cheese that the moon is made of, and his shadow reflected back to earth! He has lots of fun up in space! He jumps about because of the lack of gravity!
Anyway , that is not what was the awful thing that occurred the other night! I was so tired, and so fell asleep in my teddy bed. Did you know that my bedspread is patterned! It has the Disney pattern of " Super ted" on it! It is funny!  I was asleep, then had a teddy nightmare! But, I was so flustered after the nightmare, that I toppled onto the floor! It hurt! And when I fell down, I also knocked down the tic tacs and smarties that were on my bedside table! They went everywhere! Tic tacs are soooo hard to discover! They go everywhere! I didn't see stars though! I have heard when you fall that you see stars, but I instead saw chocolate timtams swirling around me! I must admit, I had been eating timtams for supper so that may have played a part? But I also had a drink of long life milk, and cartons of long life milk weren't jumping around before me! It was most concerning!
Well, I then rubbed my teddy hair and found that my head  hadn't fallen off, so that was a good first step! Then, I made sure that I carefully got to my feet slowly because I didn't want my blood pressure to drop, as a result of my fall. You can never, ever be too cautious! I may go into shock! But...all was okay! I made myself a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich for breakfast that day, and that boosted how I felt inside!
It still left me feeling a little shaky and trembly though!
Oh, I do miss my teddy Mum! She would have given me a teddy kiss and made everything better!
Well, I must go now. I am having a precautionary check over with Doctor.Teddy!
    Until next time,
            Your friend,

               Kiosk Ted Strath
It was sooooo embarrassing the other day! Polly and Paul the Politicians  teddy bears came to visit me and wanted me to run for the  " tedate" ( it is teddy bear version of the Senate, you know! )! I felt so very honoured and it was a big privilege but I needed to decline. The Kiosk needs me more! I need to keep watch in the Kiosk and give a warming smile to everyone who comes in!
But...it started my teddy brain to get my brainiest brainy brains thinking. I put on my purple coloured, yellow polka dots, and green lime coloured thinking cap! If I was a teddy politician,I would campaign for :
 * Electric blankets coming in " t-size"If you don't know, that means teddy size!  There are sb (single beds) db (double beds ), qb and ks (queen bed and king size ) Sooo I think there should be t size too!
  • Free teddy ambulances to take tattered teddies to the teddy hospital. This would help teddies that have lost eyes due to kids playing with them , ( it is  okay, the kids didn't swallow the eyes ) or are feeling a bit painful as a result of enthusiastic hugs by  humans, or have had an unexpected bath in the washing machine!
  • Free cheese and tomato sandwiches for all teddies! They are nutritious, calcium building, the red of tomatoes complements with blood although teddies have teddy stuffing instead, and best of all , they are yummy!
  • Free dental work for teddies, because they are always smiling to cheer others up! As the saying goes,  " seeing a teddy smile each day, makes us feel hip-hip-hooray!"
  • Five free teddy-fur dry cleaning coupons each year.Teddies sometimes like to be freshened up, a little bit like going to a health resort spa venue
  • Definitely put into official legislation that a Teddy Bears Picnic holiday is held every year!
I think that would cover some of my election policies!
I am not entering politics though. My responsibility lies at Strathalan , not in Canberra!
Until next time.

    Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath
Helloooo! How are you going? Oh, please don't leave! I have just greeted you! I suppose you could go by boat or train or bus or taxi or even a helicopter!  What a variety of travelling options!
Talking about traveling, the other day I received a holiday postcard from Tina and Travis the Travelling Tourist Teddies ( that is a lot of words starting with  " t " together in one sentence! I think that I need a cup of " t" tea after writing that !) Australia Post did deliver it!
They have been visiting Italy. They were sooooo scared when they visited "The Leaning Tower of Pisa" ! They thought that it would topple down upon them! They got a neck ache from tilting their head as  they were  looking at the building!  Of course, they ordered a pizza whilst visiting the Tower, but the cheese that was on top of the pizza was soooo hot that it burnt their teddy tongues! The Italian chef recommended to them to have the Hawaiian pizza, which contained ham, pineapple and cheese, but they were sooooooo disappointed that they weren't given some Hawaiian leis to wear when eating the pizza! ( Just by the way, I always think that the word " pizza" is quite a funny and unusual word! The letter "z" is not used in a lot of words, and so to have two z letters together is doubly funny! )
They also visited Venice. Neither of my teddy friends can swim so before they left Australia they packed  some life jackets in their luggage. You really must be doubly or triplely careful these days when you visit water filled cities like Venice. What if the gondola that they were in had started to overturn! Very soggy teddies would have resulted! If they wore their life jackets, there would floating teddies if the gondola sprung a hole! They are very water-wise teddies! Oh, they also took their teddy bathers with them! They can't swim but you need to look like you do, you know! Tina has bright fluorescent  pink bathers, whilst Timothy has lime  green swimming trunks. You wouldn't be able to not see them!
Tina really , really wanted to visit Florence and buy some Eau de cologne 4711. She really likes perfume! When Tina and Timothy were discussing together their travel plans, Tina said to Timothy that  she wanted to visit Florence " to buy some 4711". Timothy's reply was : " But you can buy a cup of coffee for $1-00 from any 7-11 petrol station in Australia" . Men! ! Or to be more specific, male teddies! Tina was not impressed!  As they say, "when in Rome, do as the Romans do",so she just threw her teddy hands up in the air, just like Italians do!
All this talk of Italy has made me a little hungry! I think that I will have some spc spaghetti from the kiosk shelves! Yummy yum yum!
  Until next time,

       Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath
