Hello everyone! Do you like lettuce? I am not too keen eating it! It doesn't really seem to be like a " real" food! It is a food but it sometimes looks a bit withered and limp. It makes me sooooo sad when I see lettuce like that! I like eating carrots though! I need to keep eating carrots so as I have very good teddy eyes so as I keep my watch on the Kiosk at night time! I treat my responsibility as Kiosk Ted very, very seriously you know!
But...Trent and Terri the tomato eating teddies enjoy eating tomatoes, and also like eating salads containing tomatoes and lettuce! They look iceberg  lettuce . Please don't tell them this, but I think that is quite odd! Icebergs are quite hard and cold, so how could eat that type of lettuce?! It would be very hard and very cold! And...I am a little scared of polar bears! I am just a little teddy bear, and my family teddy tree doesn't have a polar bear in it! Yes, my family tree only has apple, peach, nectarine and apricot trees on it!
Thinking about tomatoes sometimes brings back a painful memory for me! I had been growing some tasty tomatoes in my veggie patch. They had just turned bright red and looked soooo delicious! Hmmm..I wasn't the only one who thought they looked tasty! It was a battle who could reach the tomato first to pick or eat the tomato...between Martha the magpie, and me! I am sad to say that Martha won the battle! My nice juicy tomato became a morning tea snack for Martha! I was not happy! And...to make things worse, I tripped over my garden rake and ended up with a bruised teddy nose! I can still feel the pain of my very sore nose! And the pain from losing my prized tomato ...lasted one hour! Then I was happy that Martha liked my tomato so much that she wanted to eat it herself!
Well I had best be off now! I have been asked to bring a plate to a teddy birthday party, and I have a tiny suspicion that the inviter  may like to have some food on top of the plate! I had better start cooking!
Until next time... enjoy eating salads!

    Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath
