It is sooo exciting!! I was talking to my teddy friend Greta the Gardening teddy the other day, and guess what?! You will never, ever guess what! Well, I suppose you may guess if you try very, very hard but I really don't want you to get an awful headache from thinking too deeply! Migraines are not very fun things to experience! They make you see stars! And the not very nice thing about that, is that it is not even at night time when the stars usually come out! No...it is not very nice! Anyway, to avoid even a hint of a headache, I will tell you what Greta and I were talking about!
Greta has planted her tomato plants for the new season! Yummy-yum! I can't wait to eat them...hmm...I suppose I will need to wait, won't I?! They are just seedlings at the moment! But, I am sure that the wait will be well worth it! The only thing is, that when the tomatoes appear on the plants and turn orange and then red, Martha, Mark, Madison and Matt the Magpies family may want to come and eat the tomatoes freshly from the vine plant! I don't like the sound of that! Perhaps Sandra the Scarecrow teddy may need to stand guard over the tomato plants! The Magpies family are NOT welcome to visit Greta's garden! I suppose though if the magpie's beak pierces the skin, it may result in tomato sauce! The Magpies family could bring along a mini oven to Greta's garden, put some party pies in it then eat her tomatoes with the pies! No! Not a wise decision to do that!
Well, I had better go now and do some gardening outside the Kiosk! I am growing carrots... the invisible type! It is only me that can see them! Isn't that funny?! It is because I need to eat the carrots myself so as I maintain good teddy eye health! I need to keep a watchful eye on everyone that comes into Kiosk. If anyone starts to feel a bit weak on their legs, I will gallantry throw myself in front of them to soften their fall!
Until next time,
Carrots and beans,cauliflowers too
Tomatoes, zucchini, pumpkin, the sky is blue!
Growing veggies is lots of fun!
It is nice spending time outside in the sun!
Your friend,
Kiosk Ted Strath
