I am going to the beach! I am sooooo excited! It is going to be so much fun! I am taking a bright purple sand bucket and a fluorescent pink spade with me! I need to take things that are very colourful, because it would be awful if I was making my sand castle and a hugely BIG wave came and went right over the top of me and then I had to rush up to the top of the sea shore and leave my bucket and spade in the water and on the sand! Then, if they weren't colourful, I would never find them again!  I know that purple and pink colours shine out well on the beach!
I need to make sure that I don't get sunburnt! It can get very hot in the sunshine you know! The UV rays are quite damaging to teddy fur skin!  I am not really sure what UV stands for, but my teddy friend called Veronica who we always call "Vee" ( she thinks that it sounds so much more friendly! )  is very delighted every time UV is mentioned because she things that everyone is saying to her : "You, Vee" so she feels quite famous and popular! It makes her feel happy, and she has such a very nice teddy smile! Her glass teddy eyes radiate happiness through them!
Anyway, I'm off to the beach very soon! I am taking a cricket bat and ball with me so that I can play beach cricket.  I hope that the ball doesn't end up in the water! My fur gets a little soggy when I am in the sea! I am a good catcher of cricket balls though! Well, I am good if the sun doesn't get into my eyes! That is quite a funny saying when you think about it. The sun can't actually come down and land into our eyes can it? Our eyes would be burning with the  heat if we had a particle of the sun land in our eyes! It is not a very nice thought!
I am taking a picnic lunch with me. Cheese and tommie sandwiches! My favourite type of lunch in the whole wide world, universe and solar system! Followed by fruit salad, and all I can say is: " Yummy yum yum!"  But... I have a little friend called Sabrina. She is NOT a teddy. She has a squawky voice! She also wears the trendy fashionable colour of white all the time! Very chic I do think!  But...she often talks very loudly at me when I am eating my sandwiches at the beach, and dive bombs me! I end up needing to give her my bread crusts! I happily do so... but unfortunately I will not curly hair because I haven't eaten my bread crusts! Yes, Sabrina is a seagull!
Well,I had better get ready for my exciting trip to the beach. See you soon!
 Until next time,
Sit near a window and soak in the Vitamin D!
              Your friend,
