I am soooo excited!! Yes, I really, truly, completely and utterly are very "bouncing about", " spine tingling " ( which is extra dramatic because teddy bears like me don't have a spine back bone! We don't even have vertebrae! I am sooo glad that we don't have vertebrae because I think that this is a very hard word to spell! )  and very happy! Would you like to know to know why? I am sure that you would be interested! If I was you, I would be interested, but because I am not you, and you am not I, I will need to tell you or else you won't know why I am excited! I will give you a little hint...

Get ready for the music.... turn on the stereo loud.... get a comfortable seat...ready set go !🎵 🎵 Today's the day the Teddy Bear's have their picnic 🎵🎵 Doesn't that sound like soooooo much fun! 

       It is the Annual Teddy Bear's Picnic! All my teddy friends are attending! But, don't be alarmed. We won't make too much noise, and we never ever leave our rubbish on the ground. We always put it in to rubbish bins. And if we use the BBQ, we always scrub it clean. Except we don't clean the BBQ on a Total Fire Ban day. The main reason for not cleaning it that day is because, you aren't allowed to BBQ anyway! We just pretend that we are barbecuing and bring cold sausage rolls! Which are just as tasty! The only thing is that, Samantha the sauce dripping teddy has to always carry a multi coloured cotton  serviette whenever she attends a BBQ, because when sauce sees that it has made it onto her food, the sauce always says " I would prefer to land on Samantha's serviette instead! "   Sauce never seems to last on her food! 

 Daniel the Doughnut making teddy is going to make cinnamon, iced and hot jam donuts! Yummy Yum! Oh, I do hope that it won't be like last year, when lots of teddies needed to be treated by Doctor Teddy for burnt tongues! Many teddies took a bite of a hot jam donut, and it was so very boiling in temperature that their tongue got burnt! And it was not nice because some of the jam landed on their fur, scalded them, and it caused many upset teddies! I am feeling quite sad just thinking about the situation. But I must quickly say, that Isabel the ice cream teddy was very quick on the scene and came to the rescue! She gave out hugely big scoops of ice cream in cones to everyone who was affected, and that helped to ease the tongue and fur pain! They could choose what variety of ice cream that they would like to eat! Some picked tutti frutti, or spearmint, or bubblegum, or banana, whilst Vera the veggies liking teddy picked broccoli ice cream! Hmmm.... everyone has different tastes! I suppose that is what makes life sooooo much fun! But... I am not going to try broccoli ice cream! I don't even like the sound of deep  fried mars bars!    

   I am sooo pleased that Thomas teddy is making tomato sandwiches and Cherise teddy is making cheese sandwiches for the picnic! As you may already know, my favourite types of sandwiches are tomato and cheese sandwiches! I like multi grain bread, because when you take a bite of the sandwich or toast, instantly your body says " Let's multi -ply the smiles that you give out today! " Then you feel all sunny inside! 

  Well, I had best get ready for the picnic! I think that I had better wear a hat, take some areoguard,  and take my red chequered picnic blanket!
