Hmmm...I am not a happy Kiosk Ted Strath! I think I will go stomping my foot for a little while around the Kiosk! But don't worry, I won't stomp too hard, because I wouldn't want anything to fall off the shelves! That wouldn't be too good! What if a carton of long life milk accidentally fell off the shelf if I stomped my foot, and in the middle of my stomping with one foot on the ground and the other in the air, it decided to land on my teddy paw toe?! Oucity ouch! I would be in sooooo much pain! I may even have a broken toe! ( well, I would have a broken toe if I had a toe bone! But teddies don't have bones! It would be very painful though to have the carton fall on my toes! Perhaps skim milk carton would be lighter than full cream milk carton and not hurt as much? And it would be soooo heavy to have a cow fall on your foot, because there is a cow picture on the carton! )
Anyway, I promise that I will only tippy toe stomp around the Kiosk! I suppose you are wondering why I am upset ? Well, it really would be nice to share my grumbling with you. But, I don't want to be considered a complainer teddy. I want to be known as an uncomplaining teddy! But on the other hand, as the saying goes, a trouble shared is a trouble multiplied with a cherry, a flake bar and chocolate syrup on top! Or perhaps that is not the right saying? Oh well, you know what I mean! I will tell you!
It was a nice sunny day last week. My teddy friends and I decided to get together and get into my friend Mr. Oliver teddy bear's bearmobile car and go for a little drive. He had kindly invited us on the trip. We all jumped into the car ( literally, not just figuratively) and off we went! We decided to get some fish and chips to eat at a picnic table in the sunshine. We called into Francisca teddy's "Fish and Chippery" shop who sells the bestest ever fish that anyone in the whole wide world could serve! It is soooo yummy! Anyway, we got the fish and a hugely big white paper full of chips! Everything was going soooo great! But, as you know, sometimes unexpected things happen! Sally, Samuel, Sarina, Stella and Steven seagull decided that they wanted to taste test OUR fish and chips too! They dive bombed us and our food...and took our fish and chips in their beaks! We were not impressed! They didn't peck us, but they took all of our tasty meal! It was not very nice of them, I don't think, do you?! Poor Carlie the Chip liking teddy had a chip in her paw and the seagull took it from her paw just as she was about to eat it!
The only thing we could do was to hop back into the bearmobile (this time hopping means figuratively not literally!) and we headed for McDonald's for a fillet o fish burger and French fries instead! Oh well, that was quite nice too.
I must say goodbye for now. I think I will just check outside that there are no seagulls around to steal anything from the Kiosk!
Until next time,
Eat your fish and chips inside, away from seagulls!
Your friend,
Kiosk Ted Strath
