Yummy! I have been doing some baking today! I decided to try out a new recipe that I read in Brianna the Baker Bear's world famous cookbook (yes, even teddies who live at the North and South poles read it! The fish recipes in it are soooo tasty! Not that I really enjoy eating fish though. I am not a very fishy teddy! I think that it was because one day I went fishing with my teddy friends, and we put Walter worm onto the end of our fishing line. We then threw the fishing line into the water. All of a sudden, we heard the sound of someone crying! We were soooo saddened and worried when we heard the sound of someone upset! Do you know who was crying? Yes, it was Walter the worm! He was upset because the water was so cold! It had caused him to have an awful headache. We felt very sorry for Walter, so started to reel in the line. As we were doing that, all of a sudden a very noisy aeroplane flew over the top of us and gave us such a fright...and I fell into the pond! I was sooooo cold too! And I had an even worserer headache than the one Walter had! This experience has put me off from eating fish ever since. Fish dishes bring back unpleasant memories for me! Oh,I do enjoy fish and chips from the fish and chippery though, but just not other types of fish. )

 Anyway, Brianna's cookbook is called : "Tasty, Terrific, Taste bud Tickling, and Tremendously Tangy Teddy designed recipe cookbook! " It was the number one seller on the teddy book seller list for 39 and 1/2 weeks! ( the extra 1/2 was because the internet went down for 1/2 a week and the list couldn't be updated! ) I even have a paw printed autographed copy! I wonder if it is very valuable with her signing it? I do admit though that it has lots of food stains on it! But, that just shows that I use it a lot! 

  I decided to make a recipe from the cook book!  I made "melt and mix shortbread " It is a great shortbread recipe and very, very buttery! But... there are a few things that are puzzling me! Do you need to be only short to be able to eat it? Can tall teddies eat it too? If it is limited to only short teddies being able to eat shortbread, the tall teddy lawyers may take their "inability to eat shortbread" law case to the "Teddy equal discrimination High Court" in protest! Also, short bread is not really short "bread" ! You can't butter or put jam, Vegemite, peanut butter or cheese and tomato on this type of bread! Very weird name for a very tasty food! Anyway, I used Western Star butter when making the recipe,so I felt like I was an award wining "star" chef! I may even be awarded SIX teddy Michelin hats! That would be sooooo great!  I would wear the hats all day, everyday, even in the shower!    

Well, I best be off now. I think I might raid the Kiosk shelves for some scotch shortbread fingers and some shortbread creams!
