Do you like reading? I completely, fully, utterly and totally do! Many an evening I have snuggled into my cosy chair in the Kiosk, turned on a floral lamp shade light, and thoroughly enjoyed poking my little teddy nose into a book! Three of my teddy friends even featured in one of them! You may have heard about them? Their names are " Mama Bear" ," Papa Bear" and "Baby Bear" and they have a very special friend called Goldilocks! They met her in quite unusual circumstances... in fact is quite a strange location too....as it was in the kitchen of their home! They are such very great mates with her now! Goldilocks was soooo hungry that she ate their porridge! My teddy friends were not very happy when they discovered that someone had eaten their nice homely cooked breakfast meal! They had been laying in bed the whole night thinking about their tasty porridge meal that they were going to have for breakfast and they were so looking forward to eating it! But... then to their huge disappointment, when they came to the kitchen dining table, all that was there were three empty bowls! Each of them took off their teddy glasses, gave them a wipe with a glasses cleaning towel in case it was just that their glasses were dirty and that was why they couldn't see the porridge in their bowls , and put them back on their teddy noses. But... that didn't help! The porridge was still missing! Hmm... I really don't like porridge! I could think of much better and nicer types of breakfast cereals to enjoy eating! But... everyone likes different foods and that makes the teddy  world go around!       I personally enjoy cornflakes! Followed of course by some toast, that has been cooked not too darkish, not too lightish, but "just right" ! I will let you into a little secret of mine! When I was a very little teddy, my teddy Mummy would make toast for me for Breakfast every morning, but we wouldn't call it toast! We would call it : "pop" , after the noise it makes in the toaster ! I enjoyed eating "pop" every day! 

  Anyway, I enjoy reading lots of books! I also like visiting libraries! They have rows and rows and shelves and shelves of books! It is soooo much fun to see them all! Oh, I couldn't read them all though! I could try to read all the books in the libraries, but it would take me zillions, billions, millions of years plus one day, to read them all! And, I wouldn't have time to sleep! Anyway, I don't like all the books that have been written in the world! 

   I can't understand why you need to be quiet in a library?!  Everything you read in books are always very lively, as the characters go about their lives! They are never quiet! I think I should campaign for teddy orchestra bands to set up in libraries and play their musical instruments whilst people are selecting their books to borrow and are also reading the books! That would create a lively and fun atmosphere!

    Another thing that confuses me, is why are people that enjoy reading books called "bookworms"?!! I do NOT like being called a worm! They are slithery animals that wriggle and giggle and they are not at all like a teddy! They do like apples though, just I like do! Please do not ever call me a bookworm! 

 Well, I had best get back to my reading! I can't wait another second to find out what is going to happen at the end of the book! Will the people live "happily ever after" ? I won't cheat and look at the end page!
