Wow! The Summer heat can be very overwhelming and tiring! Did you know that it is very hot when you have teddy fur? If you are a teddy bear you will sympathise with my heated predicament, and if you are not a teddy, I can best explain it this way. It is like you wear a big fluffy fur coat, wrapped tightly around you! But...the fur coat wraps around your legs and arms too, and even covers your face! It is nice and snuggly warm in Winter but I do have to strongly state as an important fact that it is NOT at all conducive to summertime days! Oh well, I am a teddy, and will always be a teddy, so I must just "teddy soldier on" and live my days without complaining! ( perhaps just a little mumble grumble at night time when it is very, very dark and no one is around, and I say it in a very, very little whispering voice is okay? It would only be a just a little mumble complain. I wouldn't really be complaining, just talking to myself complaining, which doesn't really count as complaining, I don't think it counts as complaining, but I suppose that complaining can't be hidden as anything else but complaining... what a strange conversation I just wrote them! I hope that you don't complain about me taking up your time by my discourse on complaining?! I suppose then I would be the cause of complaints! It was this that I was trying to avoid! )
Do you know what? Oh, of course you can't read my mind, and know what I was thinking! I will tell you instead! I like sunflowers! They bring sunshine to my day and my heart! I look at them and little rays of sunshine seem to "burst" out from the petals, do a somersault, land on my teddy head, then jump into my heart! It doesn't matter what the weather is like outside! They look soooo sunny! But...I am soooo glad that they really aren't made from parts of the sun! If they were, they would be so hot to touch! I would have burnt teddy paws! Ouchity ouch! Then I wouldn't be able to pick up and eat my food! That would be not very good at all! I went for a stroll a few days ago, and found a happy smiling sunflower! It giggled at me as I passed by it! I will post a picture of it and it can make you smile too!
I hope that you have portable electric fans to keep you cool? You must be very careful though that you don't get too close to the blades! It can be dangerous! I am being very serious and have my serious teddy face on right now. I am not a teddy lecturer ( although my teddy friend Mr. Oliver from Oxford was a Professor at Oxford Uni! He is sooo intelligent! He can backwards from 10 to 1! ), but I will tell you most sincerely that you must be very careful if sitting near a fan! Oh, and also just a little tip. On a hot day, a cold flannel is very, VERY helpful! Flop it on your head, and you will start a new fashion trend!
Well, I had best be off now! I need to have a little snooze in my hammock under the shade of a tree.
Until next time,
Keep cool! Swim in a pool! Sit and have a drink on a stool!
Your friend,
Teddy Kiosk Strath
