Did you know that I am a creative teddy bear? You didn't know? Oh, I thought that you knew that I was a poet! Yes, I am a poetry writing teddy! I am not as good at it as Penelope the Poem writing teddy is or as good at it as Vincent the Verse writing teddy, but I do like to compose poems!
Hmmm....when you see me enjoying watching you visit the Kiosk, please be aware that my teddy brain may also be ticking over trying to think of words that rhyme together to end the lines of my poems! I am a little bit shy with sharing my poetry though. I get a little fearful that someone may say that they don't like it! But... what would be extra funny ( and it would make be giggle, laugh, smile, and grin! ) if someone was reading my poetry that I had written whilst at the same time eating a salad sandwich made up of lettuce, tomato, cheese, pineapple, mayonnaise and beetroot ( that sounds yummy doesn't it! ) and they accidentally spilt beetroot on the page that the poetry was written on! It would be a beetroot stained poem! You can never, ever remove beetroot stains!
Well,I think I sort of feel at ease with sharing by poetry with you. But, I am not
Will-Ted Shakeseddy ( he was the teddy bear that William Shakespeare owned! ) I just compose poems when I am in a " creative mood".
Here we go! Don't laugh!
THE KIOSK ( isn't that such an exciting title for a poem! As soon as you read the title, you know straight away that it is about...the Kiosk! )
Living in the Kiosk is lots of fun!
It is even better than eating a coffee scroll bun!
It doesn't matter if it is raining or sunny
It even doesn't matter if you are the Easter Bunny!
Everyone can visit the store
The only thing that we ask is that if eating an apple, you put in the bin your apple core!
You will always receive a smile from me.
We sell lots of varieties of biscuits to enjoy eating with a cup of tea!
The Kiosk helpers will welcome you with a hello
Did you know that sunflowers are coloured yellow?
The end of my poem! Did you like it? Did you like it? I hope that you did!
Oh, my brain is sooo tired after doing that poem! I had better go and have a little nap now! I will dream about rhyming words.
Until next time,
Compose a poem a day
Hip, hip Hooray!
Your friend, Kiosk Ted Strath
