Hello everyone! Stella the Space Traveller teddy is taking me in her rocket shop to the Olympics this week ! I am soooo excited because  we are going to watch the Athletics! I have made by cheese and tomato sandwiches to take with me, because sports watching is a very hungry-making activity to do! There is nothing worse than a teddy with  a "rumbling stummy" ( stummy is a combination of the words " stomach" and "tummy"! I need to sometimes use "trendy" words that are just like what the young teddies say so that I sound " hip" and " modern" to them ! Of course though, if I have a broken hip, well then I couldn't sound " hip" could I ?! It would be soooo painful to have a broken hip! The worst thing would be that you wouldn't be able to do " hip hop" dancing! Hmm...I suppose you could still  do the " hop" part of the dancing ? It would sad to have to give up your daily game of hopscotch, wouldn't it! Oh, I suppose you could still have the " scotch fingers" part of playing hop-scotch ? Scotch fingers biscuits are yummy! I wouldn't though recommend though putting nail polish on the fingers, because in case you didn't know, scotch fingers aren't  "real " fingers! ) Kylie Kangaroo carried Hillary the Hip broken teddy last time that she had a broken hip. She only has two hips, but she has broken  both of them!
I often enter the running races at the Teddy Bears Picnics! It is lots of fun! I wear a blue tracksuit and even though I never win, I look quite athletic! I usually come last! But...I look at this way : There needs to be a teddy that comes first...there needs to be a teddy that comes last...and there needs to teddy spectators to encourage the teddy athletes on! I suppose that it doesn't help that whilst running I often to " stop to smell the roses" literally mid-race! Did you know that where the Teddy Bears Picnic races are held, they have such a lovely variety of scented and colourful roses! They are so beautiful!
Well I must go off and make sure that that I have a hankie to take with me on my trip to the Olympics. You must never leave home without a hankie!
  Until next time,Your friend,
           Kiosk Ted Strath
This post was meant to be after another post about Stella and the Olympics that I posted, so it is a little out of order!
