My teddy friends and I visited McDonalds last week! And... would you like to know a little secret? I am sure that you would like to know! I will tell you, but you have to promise completely, utterly, truly and surely that you don't tell anyone else! You definitely can NOT tell any McDonalds staff! ( I have just had a very funny thought! It would look sooooo very funny if Old Macdonald brought his farmyard of animals into McDonalds and they all sat at the tables eating cheeseburgers! There would be pigs oinking, cows mooing, sheep bleating, horses neighing, and little ants would be quietly saying: " good morning!" It would be quite a commotion! It would not produce a very quiet dining experience! And I can just imagine them lining up at the registers waiting to order their meals! Some of the animals can be quite impatient, you know, when kept waiting! I will give you a little piece of advice. If you happen to be in McDonalds and a farm animal happens to come into the store and want to order their meal, I would suggest that you allow them to "queue hop" like a kangaroo, because an irate farm animal is not very nice! They do dilly dally on making decisions on their meal choices too! They can never decide what meal item to buy! Often they just decide on buying one of each type of burger and bring a "doggy bag" ( very odd, that saying! It is against the law to keep a dog in a bag! They would suffocate! That would not be very nice! ) to put the other burgers that they don't eat into it!! Anyway I think that having all the animals there at the one time would be quite funny! )
Back to my secret that I was going to tell you! Sammy the sliding teddy... climbed up on top of the golden arches at McDonslds and slid down the side of it! Doesn't that sound like so much fun! She said that it was great! I am a bit afraid of heights, so I declined her kind offer to join her in her sliding adventure!
The first thing that all of us teddies did when we got our burgers was to "open the lid" take out the urky gherkin pickles! We don't like them! I must quickly say that I am sure that there are millions, billions and trillions of customers that enjoy eating the pickles in their burgers... it is just the case that we are not any of those customers!
Anyway, we enjoyed our burgery and frenchy frying meals! We went to get some serviettes ( we didn't want to get sauce onto our fur! It is quite sticky to remove it from our fur! We are not very elegant when we are eating our meals! We take a bite and the sauce comes out the other side of the burger! ) and we ended up with a huge amount of serviettes that came out! It was like a snow storm of white serviettes! We did feel quite embarrassed!
Well, we had a nice meal, did not see any farm animals, and all the other customers gave us a happy smile and a wave when we entered the restaurant!
I must say goodbye for now. I am feeling a bit hungry again!
Until next time,
It might be wise for you to not go sliding on the yellow arches at Mcdonalds. It is okay if you are a teddy though!
Your friend,
Kiosk Ted Strath
