Did you know something about me that you don't know? Hmm... I suppose that you don't know it if it something you didn't know! Well, perhaps you may now like to know! I wear glasses! But... I have superhero glasses, the type that look invisible to everyone but myself! It is quite trendy to wear them you know! All teddies that aspire to be super heroes are flocking to comic book stores to buy these types of glasses. But, you don't need to worry ... I know what you are thinking... I promise totally, completely, utterly and fully that I will NOT put on a red cape and try to jump off a roof at Strathalan! I just do not look fashionable in a red cape! Red just doesn't go with brown. And another reason is that I am just a teensy bit scared of spiders so I  really don't want to be like Spiderman!  No... No... I must admit I am lot scared of spiders ! And, as for bats, I will never want to be Batman! I would be so worried if big black bats descended on top of me! It would be worrying! 

  Anyway, the other day I got myself into quite a panicky state! You would not like to see a  teddy with a  worried,  concerned and agitated look on their face!   The problem was, that I had lost my glasses! I had taken them off to wash my teddy face and then I heard my most favourite ever teddy song start to being played on the radio, so I started singing along to the tune. Then, I discovered that I had lost my glasses ! Where could they be in  the Kiosk?   I hoped that a carton  of long life milk hadn't fallen on top of them! Those milk cartons  are very heavy and would smash the lens into little pieces. A jar of jam falling on my glasses could cause cracks too!  I just didn't know where to look!  I decided to have a bowl of  Sultana Bran to give me brain thinking energy, because the word "bran "is very similar to "brain" and me could be the "I" in it! After eating the cereal, I still couldn't think where the glasses were!   

     If I was popeye , I would eat spinach, and that might make me remember where I put down my glasses. But... the Kiosk doesn't sell spinach .( well, I don't think it does?? But it does sell many things so perhaps a tin of spinach has snuck onto the Kiosk shelf without me knowing !) The next best green thing , if I couldn't eat spinach, to eat  was a peppermint crisp bar and a aero mint bubble choc bar . The sugar in it might activate my remembering glasses thoughts. It didn't work! 

   A  nice cup of tea always calms one's  nerves( that is the saying that my English teddy bear says all the time!  She lives near Buckingham Palace! Isn't that soooo exciting! She waves to the Queen every day! And... do you know what? The Queen is so nice and always waves back to  her!) Soooo, I made myself a nice cup of twinings tea. I took it to my comfy chair so as I could sit, relax and drink it. But... I just couldn't get into the right position on the chair whilst sitting there. I just didn't feel right. Hmmm... I soon discovered the reason! I was sitting on my glasses! I had placed them there before washing my face. 

 But I was just so happy and relieved that I had found my glasses that I decided to do a " teddy dance" which is even more funnier than the "chicken dance"!!  

     I must say goodbye now. I need to do some reading ....wearing my superhero glasses of course!
