Ouch! Ouch! I have a very sore arm! I am a very pain-y teddy bear at the moment! Could you please sympathise with me? Just for a little milli-second? Oh, thankyou soooo much! I appreciate your concerns for me! I feel much better...I think! Well, I don't really feel better, but perhaps I feel a teeny bit better than how I felt a minute or two ago, but not as good as I felt yesterday and not as great as I will feel tomorrow! Oh, I am confused in what I am saying today aren't I?! It is because I am in pain. You may we wondering why I am in pain? Well, I won't make you wonder any longer, and will instead tell you!
I had to have the annual teddy flu shot this morning! I take my responsibility of being Kiosk Ted Strath very sincerely and dutifully, and would not want to catch or pass on any flu symptoms to anyone who visited the Kiosk! Soooo...I tedfully ( which is the bear version of manfully) and willingly went to see Teddy Doctor and he gave me the flu injection in my arm. Of course, teddies can't catch the human flu and humans can't catch the teddy flu, but you do need to be extra safe just in case somehow the flu germs got mixed up! The teddy flu germs may have lost the map, and ended up jumping onto a human, or a human flu germ may have been a bit tired and mistaken a bear for a human. Anyway, I took all the precautions, and decided that it was wise to have a flu shot!
Normally teddy doctor gives me a jelly bean. Sadly though, the night before a "jelly bean robber" had  invaded teddy doctor's surgery clinic! This robber, we don't know if the robber was male or female, crept into the clinic at night time on tippy toes and wearing a black and white balaclava and a bright red poncho ( we know this because doctor teddy has a security camera on the roof. But the pictures are a bit blurry! ) and all that he/she did was to steal the jelly beans! It is quite odd! We don't understand why the robber likes jelly beans? Perhaps he wanted to set up a contest to guess how many jelly beans were in a container? We will never know I suppose. As teddy doctor said: " if the robber had politely asked me, I would have given him as many jelly beans as he wanted! "
Anyway, I received a freddo frog instead after the flu shot! I think that perhaps that was better instead! But I have to admit, there is nothing better than eating a colourful jelly bean! I like to imagine the colourful jelly bean doing a dance in my inside! It would be giggling and dancing down my teddy throat and then do a twirl around my teddy heart, waltz over my lungs, and then move into my arm and settle down on the spot where the injection was put in my arm! I like freddo, and he seems a happy frog, but he didn't take away the pain from the injection! Perhaps it his " revenge" because I ate his head first?
Anyway, my arm still hurts! But...I know that after a good night's sleep I will feel better again. Then I will be back to doing handstands tomorrow! It will be soooo much fun! I am sooo happy when I am doing handstands, forward rolls, somersaults and skippety-skips-bips! ( I don't know what a skippety-skips-bip is, but it sounds like a quite a fun thing to do! )
I must say goodbye now, and go to have a rest!
       Until next time,
Make sure that you have your flu shot too! And ask your doctor for a jelly bean!
     Your friend,

            Kiosk Ted Strath
