Hello everyone! Good morning to you! Or perhaps good afternoon is more appropriate? Perhaps you are reading this at 11:55 p.m.and your bed will soon turn into pumpkin soup? ( I think Cinderella's coach carriage  turned into a pumpkin when midnight struck! If you don't own a glass carriage, which I don't, your bed may turn into pumpkin soup if you are still awake at midnight!  It would be a yummy type of soup to eat/drink though! Your pillow may turn into a piece of toast, then you could butter it, cut it up into little croutons cubes and have it with your soup! ) Or perhaps you are not feeling too well, so instead of saying " good day", I will rhyme the words and say: "please pain, go, go away! " Anyway, hello to everyone!
I have a tiny and little secret. But... the little secret is about a BIG thing! I am...scared of horses! They are very big and very fast in their movements! I am only a little teddy! I wouldn't want the imprint of a horseshoe on my tender teddy  fur! It would hurt! Oh, I am not planning to go anywhere near a horse! It is on my mind though because of the current Spring Racing Carnival. I do like the roses that are at the Flemington racetrack though. I wonder if the horses ever stop whilst in the midst of a race to " smell the flowers". The saying  says to " stop and smell the roses" so that applies to horses as well. Or perhaps the horses may decide to eat the flowers instead! Roses have a nice scent, so perhaps they would taste nice too?!
Talking about horses and apples ( not that we were talking about apples, but horses like eating apples, and I like eating apples, but I don't like sitting under an apple tree! I have had too many bad headaches from apples falling onto my head! An apple variety is called " Royal Gala" but I don't wear a throne to protect bumps on my head! Also red delicious apples are nice...but it is not delicious when one hits you on your head! Grandmas are meant to be caring and loving family members, but a Granny Smith apple landing on you is not a very kindly experience! ) Anyway...after that little journey away from horses and apples, I am not sure what I was going to write about horses and apples! I am suffering from delayed concussion, brought on by my memories of when I got hit in the head by an apple! And I would never, ever  like to find a worm in an apple! I have seen cute pictures of worms and apples, but I don't like the real thing!
Well,I must be off now! Time for a slice of hot apple pie and cream!
      Until next time,
Enjoy drinking soup whether warm or cold
The kiosk has a variety of flavours, try a new one and be bold.
Don't sit under an apple tree!
Remember to take time to " stop and smell the roses" and be happy!
       Your friend,

           Kiosk Ted Strath
