It's here! It's here! The day is here! It is the Grand Final of the teddy bears footy league! It is just sooooo exciting! Would you like to know which teams   made the grand final? I am sure you would like to know, and then you can barrack for your favourite tEam! The grand finalist teams are.... The Terrific Teddies versus the Big Brainy Bears! The funny thing is, that the B.B.B. team only has very small teddies in the team so they are not very big! But... because they are small, they can kick the football better because the football is closer to their foot! And also, when the ball hits the ground, there is shorter distance for them to bend down and pick it up! The T.T.T. team though have a "secret weapon"! Their initials are a clue to what it is! They always have a nice cup of tea at the halftime break! It gives them energy for the second half of the game! Of course, the B.B.B. team, with the word "brainy" in their name always spends the half time break reading the latest edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannic!   They are sooooo brainy!

   I wonder who will win?! The teams have been training so very hard for the Grand final!  They are very dedicated to the task! The other night at footy training, it was raining... but that didn't stop them ! No... both teams rushed inside and grabbed some colourful multi coloured umbrellas and held them in their hands over the top of their heads whilst kicking the football!  It was such a nice bright sight to see! ( I know, the words "multi coloured" and "colourful" mean the same, but I just feel like doubly saying that the umbrellas had a lot of colours in its design!) The umbrellas kept them from getting wet, so that was great! Hmmm... a few weeks ago though, we experienced both rain and windy weather, and I am sad to say that in that day the umbrellas blew inside out! All that was left in the footballing teddies hands was some umbrellas spokes! It looked quite funny, because when Roger the Rubbish collecting teddy bear came in his big rubbish truck to collect the rubbish from the bins at the football field grounds, the bins were full of umbrella spokes! 

   Roger is a very considerate teddy you know! He is not like other rubbish collectors who come to collect rubbish in their rubbish trucks before six o'clock, and who make such loud noises with the dumping of the contents of the bins into the back truck! No... he always comes at 7:31 a.m., and puts on his Mickey Mouse ears and tries to be as quiet as a mouse! He usually doesn't succeed in picking up the rubbish quietly, but it is thought that counts, don't you think?! 

   You will never every guess who won the Bearlow Brownlow medal this year! It was ... Theodore Bearablett! 

   Well, I had better get myself ready to attend the match! I have my footy scarf, beanie, a thermos of soup, and some tim tams. I will be cheering for both teams... so  I will always be the winner at the end of the match!
