Do you know what? Of course you don't know what! If you did know what, then I wouldn't need to tell you what, because you would already know what! Which is what , I will tell you when I finish discussing what is what, and why it is what . Wow! Is your head spinning after that those sentences ? Mine is! I feel quite confused and dizzy! Please feel free to forget what I just wrote!
Anyway "what" I was going to tell you was that it was soooo exciting because last week I attended little Lilian teddy bear's birthday party! She turned seven years old! Isn't that so special and fun! She was such a happy little birthday girl on that day! She even wore pink ribbons in her hair! It was sooo cute! We were going to play " snakes and ladders" board game...but every teddy is afraid of snakes so that idea was quickly decided against doing! We played pass the parcel, and when the music stopped, the teddy who held the parcel was allowed to open another layer! Penelope the pianist teddy, Vincent the violinist, Bobby the bass player and Gina the guitarist teddy made up the teddy band of musical instrument players. It was so much fun! The parcel was being passed very quickly from one teddy paw to the next teddy paw! Of course, it got dropped a few times...well, quite a few times! But that is a part of the fun!  With each layer that was unwrapped, we wondered who would end up unwrapping the last layer?! The layers kept being unwrapped, ( Stacey the studious teddy, enjoyed reading the news that was written on the  newspaper layers! She likes to keep up with the world events!) the music kept stopping and starting again, and then all of a sudden it got down to the last layer, and the wrapped up present was finally discovered! Talia the tearful teddy burst into tears! We all rushed to comfort her,and find out why she was crying! The present was...a million tiny  pieces of fine porcelain china!  The original present was a very fine tea cup! It didn't make it through the pass the parcel game! It was so very broken! Us teddies didn't know whether to cry or to laugh! A tea cup is quite odd to wrap up in a pass the parcel game! And what is even odder, is that there was a shortage of Twinings teabags in the home that day,so no one could have enjoyed a nice cup of tea out of the cup anyway! Sooo no one actually won the prize! Georgina the glueing teddy tried sooo hard to mend the pieces of the tea cup back together but a million tea cup pieces is too hard to do! She said that if it had been 999, 999 pieces, she may have been able to achieve the task!
We had a delicious piece of a teddy themed cake! It was sooo yummy! I even took a picture of it on my iPad to show you before it was cut! (Us teddies find it a bit hard using the iPad though with our paws! )
Well, I had best be off! I think I just hears Paul the Postie teddy deliver a thankyou letter from Lilian thanking me for attending her party!
   Until next time,
if you have a party, make sure you put up colourful balloons and banners all around the room! That is what little Lilian's family did!
