Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a super duper, very nice day! Although I don't think that it is very wise to wear a superman or superwoman outfit around Strathalan because is not every day that you see someone walking around the property dressed like a super hero! I wonder what my outfit and cape would look like if I was "Super ted? " I am scared of heights so I wouldn't want to fly whilst wearing my " super" career outfit!
I have the snuffling snuffles! It is not nice to be a snuffling, snuffler teddy who snuffles and has never met Mr. Snuffleupagus from Sesame Street! ( I am not a good speller, and I apologise most profusely to Mr. Snuffleupagus
if I misspelt his name! I don't watch Sesame Street much now! I did watch it when I was a little teddy though! I felt sooooo sorry for him when he had a cold! He has a "slightly " big nose! ) Anyway, I have the sniffles because ...I bought some a sunny yellow chrysanthemums plant for Mother's Day! I am taking it to a special Mothers Day lunch that is being held for teddy Mum's! The flowers are giving me hay fever, even though there is no sign of hay, horses or a farm! It doesn't matter, but it is just making me a bit snuffly.
The lunch will be so exciting! It is going to be a roast chicken, roast potatoes and pumpkin, and vegies lunch! But any red haired teddies are not going to eat the pumpkin because it clashes with their hair! They will though eat the carrots because not many people know this, but carrots really are not orange!
Are you surprised about that?! I very definitely was soooooooo surprised when I learnt that their real colour is purple with yellow polka dots on them! Peter-Colin, the Painter of Carrots, travels continually throughout the world and paints the carrots orange overnight! He digs deep into the soil, gets out his paint brush and orange paint, then paints the carrots! He does though employ some apprentices. It helps the unemployment rate in each country. They are trained at the carrot painting university, because there is a skill involved in painting carrots orange! It involves precision, skill, and a steady hand. The colour must be applied to certain standards too. There are official carrot painting rules and standards. These must be met. Once the students graduate from Carrot Uni, Peter-Colin employs them in the various countries to do the carrot painting. They get a good salary ( they even given stalks of celery with their salary! ) Because they work overnight, Samantha the sandwich maker makes billions of cheese and carrot sandwiches through the day, then sends them by express post eagles, seagulls and magpies to every country throughout the world! The painters then eat them for a midnight snack feast. It is a career job that is well respected throughout the world, by those who are aware of the real colour of carrots.
Anyway, everyone will be able to eat carrots at the teddies Mothers Day luncheon!
It will be a yummy lunch! We all are taking a pot of chrysanthemums to brighten up the dining room!
Well I must go now. All the talk about carrots has made me feel like making a carrot cake!
Until next time,
Your friend.
