It is Christmas Teddies Party time! How soooo very exciting! I am so looking forward to attending the Annual TBTBAFCP !! Oh, you haven't heard about this or wonder what the initials stand for? Well, I must tell you straight away! The letters stand for : " Teddy Bear's Terrific, Brilliant And Fantabulous Christmas Party" !!! It is such a very grand event! All the female teddies wear their white pearls to the party event, and Mandy the Manicurist teddy, Helena the Hairdresser teddy, and Darlene the Dress fitting teddy are sooooo busy in the week leading up to the party, getting all the girl teddies ready for the party! Patricia the Podiatrist teddy is kept very busy AFTER the party, due to many female teddies having very sore feet because the male teddies have stood on their paw feet whilst dancing with them! Some male teddies, I must admit, are not very good dancers! Without sounding too teddy large headed, i think that I am quite good at dancing! My teddy friend, Mr. Oliver, is so very much better though! ( I secretly think that he took dancing lessons at one time! Or perhaps he was a secret contestant one time on "Dancing with the teddy stars" ?! You just never know ! )
I am going to wear a purple tuxedo! It is sooo much more trendier than a black tuxedo! It is the latest trend to wear purple, which I read in the latest issue of Le Chic Ted Fash magazine! I do like to keep up with the trends! Clothes "don't make a teddy" as the saying goes...but wearing stylish clothes does put a little pep into your walk! I am going to wear a nice white carnation on my lapel. White and purple are the "in" colours this year!
We are going to have lots of fun at our party! Of course, there will be lots and lots of carol singing! Teddies make such great choralists! We are a bit shy about singing when with people other than teddies , because we might not reach the right singing note, but amongst teddy friends we sing loud and happily and our singing reaches the tippiest top roof part of the rooms that we sing in! We have the most bestest teddy pianist! She is so very talented! She gets a bit carried away though when playing, and gets so absorbed in her music playing that she sometimes moves her hands so fast that she falls off the piano stool! We just pick her up off the floor, help to get back onto the stool, then off we go with singing and her playing again! We keep some Kit Kats stashed in the piano lid so that if she needs a chocolate break ( she is a bit of a chocoholic! ) they are there for her to have a snack on between carol playing! The only thing is that it is a bit of a problem in Summery weather! Her hands get a bit sticky with melting chocolate of the Kit Kats! And sticky chocolate hands and white piano keys are not the best combination! Charlotte the Cleaner teddy is great though at getting chocolate stains off the keys. She gets some jif in one hand, her cleaning towel in another, and off she goes!
Well,I had best be off now and get ready for the party! I am so excited that I feel quite trembly! Au revoir and goodnight!
Until next time,
I advise you not to eat chocolates when playing the piano, unless you happen to have a bottle of jif nearby!
Your friend,
Kiosk Ted Strath
